Sidr Honey Lab Results by Harvest
Every current DIVINEDROP Sidr batch is published here with the harvest it belongs to, the laboratory that ran it and the reference number on the report. Sidr activity changes from season to season, so a single figure cannot describe every jar a brand sells. These are the figures for the jars we are selling now, and the record of the harvests before them.

Tested, then judged
A laboratory tells you what is in the jar. It cannot tell you how the honey tastes. For that we enter our honey in Great Taste, run by the Guild of Fine Food, where every entry is taken out of its packaging and tasted blind by panels of food experts.
- Royal Yemeni Sidr Honey: 2-Star Great Taste 2026. The judges: “The flavour brings such delight.” Directory entry
- Premium Yemeni Sidr Honey: 1-Star Great Taste 2026. The judges: “An interesting and well-balanced honey.” Directory entry
- Premium Yemeni Sidr Honey: 1-Star Great Taste 2025. Directory entry

2023 Sidr harvest
This result belongs to our 2023 harvest. It is kept here as a record. It is not the figure for any jar on sale today — the current Sidr figures are above.

- Report issued by: Analytica Laboratories, New Zealand (testing subcontracted to CAIQTEST Pacific, as stated on the report)

- Test date: 7 February 2023
- Method: University of Waikato agar well diffusion test

What these numbers are
Total activity (TA) is a laboratory measure of antimicrobial activity, expressed as a phenol equivalent. It describes the honey as tested. It is a measure of the honey, not a statement about health.
The C4 sugar result is a separate authenticity test, used to check for added cane or corn syrup. A honey can carry a high activity figure and still say nothing about adulteration, because the two tests answer different questions. We publish both.
Honey is not suitable for infants under 12 months.
Four things to check on any Sidr lab result
A TA figure on its own tells you little. Before you compare two Sidr honeys, check that each result shows:
- The harvest year. Activity changes from season to season, so a figure without a year may belong to a harvest that sold out long ago.
- The laboratory and its report reference, so the result can be traced to a real report.
- A C4 sugar result, the test for added cane or corn syrup. TA does not measure this.
- The product it belongs to, not a result shared across a whole range.
Both 2026 results on this page show all four. More detail: how to read a Sidr honey lab certificate.
