One 500g jar of Premium Yemeni Sidr honey and one of Yemeni Sumra honey, both raw, unheated and from Wadi Doan in Hadramout: one valley, two trees.
Sidr is golden, floral and smooth. Sumra is dark and thick, with roasted-date notes and less sweetness. In Yemen the two are often taken together, Sidr through the day and Sumra on an empty stomach.
Both won at Great Taste 2026: Sumra 2-Star and Premium Sidr 1-Star. The Sidr was tested at TA 26.8, with a C4 sugar result of 0.
